Record Store Day 2025

Hi All

The wait is almost over and Vinylfetishes Records very first RSD is almost here!  We are busy getting this ready for you but wanted to take some time to share some information about what to expect on the day

We will open our doors at 8am on Saturday April 12th. We have been given an allocation of almost everything we asked for, but some quantities are significantly lower that we would have liked, so we would recommend arriving at our store early to avoid any disappointment.  If you decide to queue, there will be one queue that will start outside the main entrance to Pollard Yard, on Pollard Street East, you will see our sign which will indicate the start position.  We will open the gates manually slightly before 8am, and guide you around to our store.  Please do not form any other queue within Pollard Yard as we can only have a single queuing system.  

Due to our size, we will be serving two customers at a time, and will try to allocate stock and complete the sale as quickly as possible.  To help serve as quickly as possible, please print off a copy of our stock list and tick the items you would like.  Please be patient with us on the day.

As with any other Record Store Day event, you will be permitted to buy one copy of each release, but as many different releases as you like.

As mentioned, there are some items that we have been allocated significantly lower than we required.  The three main items that are on short allocation are Oasis "Time Flies", Taylor Swift "Fortnight" and the Wicked Soundtrack.

We are also very excited to announce that some of our Neighbours will be open to make your day even brighter.  

Palm's bakery will be opening the on-site coffee shop for the day and will be serving up coffee and other hot drinks, along with some delicious bakes and other snacks.  Check out their insta feed here.
